Moskos has been starting during the second half of the season. Thought you might want to update the article.

Cordero is terrible. He's not even closing for the Nats anymore (incidentally, I'd trade a prospect arm for John Rauch).

You can never have enough good arms, because you never know how many will pan out.

It really depends on who's left at 30. If Josh Fields is sitting there, that's an option, too. But I'm totally on board with Russell if he falls.

We could sign a closer and pick up that bat. No need to take on any more young arms early. Cordero FA in 2008 I think. Plus Giambi is deteriorating and so is abreu. We'll see though.

60 K in 58 games isn't that bad. There's a reason they don't throw kids straight from HS or college into the bigs. Russell would have 2-3 years to cut down on his K's.

Kyle Russell struck out 60 times in 58 games this season. That's worrisome.

Joseph, Thanks! Thats makes sense, although only in the weird baseball sense kind of way. I'm more surprised that Foulke is a Type B. Shouldn't there be a clause that if a player RETIRES before the season even starts, they don't count? Not in baseball sense I guess...

EJ,

From Baseball America's draft scouting report:

"He has a quick bat and lefthanded power to all fields, and he also offers solid athleticism, speed and arm strength."

The problem, according to scouts:

"They say it's a grooved swing with too much uppercut, and pitchers can get him out by working up in the zone or coming inside."

You know who else has a swing like that? David Ortiz.
