This little bit from the NYT's <a href="http://bats.blogs.nytimes.com/2007/05/16/minor-relief-from-major-problems/" rel="nofollow">baseball blog</a> is of note:
In Tampa, the ace of the Yankees’ Class A team is Ian Kennedy, last year’s first-round pick, who is 4-1 ith a 1.43 E.R.A. His game on Tuesday (6 2/3 innings, 2 hits, 0 runs, 11 strikeouts) sent a buzz through the organization.

“He was awesome,” said Nardi Contreras, the minor league pitching coordinator. “He pitched the best game I’ve seen this year, big leagues or minor leagues. He made some changes in his delivery, and it was all working well. We’re pretty happy.”
The Yankees excessive caution with placing prospects at a level that will challenge them comes back to haunt the organization now. Kennedy should not have been at high A to begin with, and he could easily have been moved up to AA by now. The rash of injuries and call ups has created openings at higher levels. Instead of moving prospects up from AA to AAA (e.g., Brett Smith) and setting up a chain of promotions, the Yankees bring in career minor league retreads.

Er, hate to be that douche, but Hilligoss is 5 games away from being halfway there.

I'm a little scared to see Chase again, but I guess it's a vote of confidence.

I would that with the way things are going, Wang would start on three days' rest. Other than that, judging by the schedule, it would have to be Wright.
