Memorial Day weekend

I’ve been busy the past few days, hence no updates. Trust me, you missed very little.

Oh, and what you saw tonight was the real Tyler Clippard. Fastball wasn’t fooling anyone, lots of fly balls, and consequently, lots of extra base hits given up…

    You hate Tyler Clippard uh?

  • Chris

Honestly, this wasn’t the “real” Tyler Clippard, either. It’s somewhere in between the two starts. Nice try, though.

  • Malcard89

“Oh, and what you saw tonight was the real Tyler Clippard.”

That’s true, but that was also the real Matt Desalvo we saw today. No control, prone to the big inning.

  • NJ Lawyer

    Give me break.

Clippard had no command tonight. It’s unfair to judge him overly harshly because of that.

  • bilko

Obviously Kennedy has been tearing up A-ball and should go to AA. But has he been successful just by fooling low minor leaguers or has he found his low 90’s fastball again?

    Throw Vizcaino down the well
So our bullpen can be free
You must bring up Chris Britton
Then we have a big party

    @ Eric – I’m using that today.

@ bilko – according to Pinstripes Plus, he’s back to throwing his fastball in the 90s.

  • Matt L

Is the hitting streak at 31 or 32? You say 31 but EJ at Pending Pinstripes says 32.

  • http://riveraveblues.com Mike A.

    Matt L – it’s at 31 games:
