Yeah!!! the Yankees won the series and played their World Series in May. The Sox came in and did what they had to do: win 1, avoid the sweep and lose just one game (which they will pick back up tonight).

“A chance to sweep next weekend”. that’s funny. Most likely it will be a chance to be swept, with the cherry on top on Sunday (excuse the pun) when Clemens is rudely welcomed back to the AL East to finish up being swept up by the Sox. He struggled with our baby AA team. What makes you think we even has a chance to win that game?

0-3 against Angels
1-3 against Toronto (and I’m being nice)
0-3 against Sox
and then 4 back in Chicago (do you see where I’m going with this?)

Sox sweep in Texas (Best vs. Worst in MLB) (no brainer): 3-0
Play Cleveland at home just like they played Detroit (won 3 out of 4): 3-0

and then I already told you the bad news next weekend: 3-0

That will be 40-15 for the BEST TEAM IN BASEBALL! while you might be 22-32 (if your lucky)

Keep sucking on your tail pipe because it’s working for you. You have no contept of what a losing team looks like.

Yeah I knew about tier 13, but only because our seats are in them this year. It gets kinda old fast, because you have to listen to the guys behind you brag about hwo sneaky they are to get thier beer into the section… I was unimpressed esp. when they spilled beer on me.

If Farnsworth is really on his way out, I hope Joe uses him for mop-up duty until he’s gone. I also hope Joe pitches him on back-to-back days, the big sissy. Bruney and Proctor should duke it out for the eighth. I’m leaning toward Bruney at this point.

Yep, those seats are really easy to get. Brokers seem to end up with them a lot resulting in lots of out of town fans. The big issue is just security police that section more than most and will boot you for less than in most sections. Still, the view from those seats is quite good for the Tiers.

LOL! Dude, I ended up sitting in the next section one game, and 13 was FILLED with Red Sox fans! There was a Sox fan next to me telling me about it, – apparently those seats are often available on eBay since you can’t drink. You live, you learn!

It was definitely a fun time at the Stadium, but while I agree that heckling is part of the game… being a homophobic douchebag is not. I wish the guys behind me chanting “Manny is a homo” had been tossed out, or at the very least, told to knock it off — for me, when that stuff is tolerated, it just makes Yankee fans look like morons, and it’s embarrassing.
