Nuts, and a local product, which you jut gotta love (then again, Eric Duncan came out of Seton Hall Prep, too).

But with the way the draft rules are set up this year, teams have more incentive to say "screw your demands, we're taking you anyway." If they don't sign, the team gets the pick after their pick this year. To clarify, if the Royals take Porcello #2 and he doesn't sign, they'll get the #3 pick next year. If the Yankees take Porcello at #30 and he doesn't sign, they get the #31 pick next year.

This is exactly why Matt Weiters won't fall.

I didnt know where to mention this but in his blog today Gammons spoke about and quoted someone as saying that Porcello may fall to the Yanks. Supposedly he is asking for Beckett money (like 10 million and a pro contract). If I was the Yanks I would call Boras and let him know we will meet the contract demand if he can steer Porcello to us. Screw collusion that kid is nuts

Kennedy is reportedly now at Trenton, so someone was listening. As for Sardine Can, it isn't as though there is a hot shot outfield prospect at AA who he's blocking.

Anyone know where to find out pitching probables for the Yanks tampa team?

I want to try and see Joba Pitch in Jupiter against the Cardinals Affiliate. Also, any idea who is taking Ian Kennedy's spot in the rotation as it looks like we was promoted to AA (which pisses me off, I was hoping to see both of them pitch... )

It is going to be my 5 year olds first game... She is a huge Yankee fan.

By the way, Rotoworld is reporting that Chris Basak will come up and fill the shoes of the Scranton-bound Matt De Salvo. It's probably not going to be Andy Phillips. Someone here will have more when we know that the Yanks are opting for this move.

I dunno, Jackson's start tonight looks pretty good save for the IP. I mean, he must have had some stinky defense behind him? Just looing for something positive...no BBs and 5 Ks?

Bad news for Sardinha, usually when people stop debating a prospect it's because they're not one anymore.

Nice to see Hilligoss get right back on track
