High-A Tampa (9-1 loss to Palm Beach)
Prilys Cuello: 0 for 4, 2 K – 3 months younger than Tabata, they brought him up from Extended Spring (conveniently located in Tampa) because the team is crunched for middle infielders with Kevin Russo and Reegie Corona out (dunno why, could be injury, could be somethin’ else)…even though he’s a very talented kid, I don’t expect him to stay in Tampa much longer…

  3. Rick in Boston says:

    Mike,

Any thoughts about following the new Baby Bombers going to Omaha for the CWS?

  4. D says:

If I’m not mistaken, I believe Hoover is still rehabbing in extended ST and is likely going to start the year in one of the SS leagues.

  5. Mike A. says:

Rick – I plan on keeping tabs on any draftees in the CWS, but I appreciate the suggestion.

Hoover is in EST and doing about as well you could expect a guy who missed 2 years to do. I’m sure they’ll send him to SI or the GCL at the end of the month.
