Masterson? I'd say somewhere between Miranda and Ohlendorf, bottom of the top 10-ish.

Never assume the double play. In baseball and in girl hunting at sleazy bars. You'll only end up disappointed. Trust me.

RollingWave, no way that was a double play ball. It was a slow grounder hit to A-Rod's left. He had to range to get it, make a strong perfect throw to Cano and then Cano would have to make a strong perfect throw to Giambi to a get a not-slow runner. So Mussina would have given up a three-run home run and the very same 6 ER he gave up. That hardly makes it better.

How's Igawa going to get anything in return on a trade, if he can't even master AAA?

Did anyone see the box score?! Fasano with a stolen base! How did this happen? Did Bruney and Nieves take a literal nap?

I think Justin Snyder might have been just as upset about being left off the top 30.

I'm very happy the Yankees signed all their highly touted high school kids, but it wouldn't surprise me if the unheralded college players like Sublett, Snyder and Pruitt end up as the better players. Long way to go on that one, however.

Ben, let's be real here, A-rod blew what should have been a inning ending double play. that ended up costing 4 runs.

Yes moose gave up 3 more runs after that, but he was completely gassed off the start, and wasn't really drilled that hard later on (a lot of hit and run singles or slappy hits) I thought he worked the corners well this game, but was completely squeezed throughout as the ump wouldn't even give him 2 inchs off the plate but would give the Tigers 4 freaking inchs (see Cano's strikeout)

Funny how much Igawa is like Eric Duncan, both keep showing enough promise for you to not completely lose hope, but then crash and burn.
