Another day, another pro debut
ByThe Braves just DFA’ed Bob Wickman…at this point, with rosters set to expand in a week, how do the Yanks not take a flier?
Triple-A Scranton (6-2 loss to Rochester)

Justin Pope: 3 IP, 2 H, 1 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 1 K, 1 HB, 7-1 GB/FB - blew the save via a HB, runner moving to 2nd on a grounder, runner then moving to 3rd on a grounder, & an error…that’s tough
High-A Tampa‘s game, much like the Yankees’ game, kept getting pushed back due to rain. You can find the box score here, but it’s Friday night so I’m going to go do stuff I hopefully won’t remember tomorrow.
Low-A Charleston (7-4 loss to Rome)
Hit Streak Hilligoss: 0 for 5 – how many times do you think he went hitless in 5 straight ABs this year? I’m willing to bet it’s less than a dozen…
James Cooper: 2 for 5, 1 R, 2 SB
Seth Fortenberry: 1 for 3, 1 R, 2 BB, 1 K – he’s cooled down in a major way after crushing everything thrown at him in the first half

Kyle Hollander & Nick Peterson: combined 2.1 IP, bunch of zeroes, 2 K
Rookie GCL Yanks (4-0 win over GCL Phillies)

bad day for some good prospects… duncan, mcallister, miranda, gardner, clippard. but who cares, jose cruz is the future.
Hey, what happened to the stock of TJ Beam. I remember last year that is the guy they called up multiple times. Has he been hurt or just bypassed by better options?
