so whats mccutchens story? have any true potential out of the minors?
he has potential, but he was a college senior and got suspended after being drafted, so he has vertually 0 room for error to be more than a ok RP.
he wasnt this good in college based on raw numbers. i always found it funny that stats so often improve when a player goes from playing against amateurs to playing against pros
How long till some of are draft picks (Angelini,Romine,Suttle…) are added to the Roster
Most of them haven’t played ball for a while, so they’re going to have to get back into shape first. A week at least, probably more.
Actually, I believe all of our late signings were for ‘08 contracts, so technically they can’t play in pro leagues this summer and will all go to instructionals…
Damon Oppenheimer in an interview with Pinestripe plus said that ALL the contracts are 07′ thus making them all eligible to play this summer
