Scranton bullpen: 9 IP, 4 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 1 BB, 7 K
ByUpdate on Miranda: Miranda rolled his ankle running after a foul pop-up the other day. Nothing major, but the Yanks are being overly cautious as always. That’s from our good pal Mike A., who should be out enjoying the sun.

Rookie GCL Yanks postponed due to rain

I am an optimist, so instead of saying that Marquez had a bad night I am going to say he had a Clemens like performance. Doesn’t that sound much nicer?
Mike, thank you for the first comment of the day that made me laugh.
What is the purpose of having a reliever start a game instead of promoting Horne or somebody?
I guess this was Joba’s vacated spot?
As I mentioned yesterday, Jete, there are a ton of roster moves that already need to be made. I’m sure they didn’t want to add to the complication by adding Horne.
The prediction here is that Williamson gets called up before the kids. Give Torre a veteran any day over a guy withiut big league experience.
The reason for the relief start in Scranton is because it was Karstens turn to start. Add too that the mess Joseph is talking about and you get yesterday’s start.
Joba will be called up before anyone else in the scranton bullpen, but i think williamson will be next after joba. and when is horne gonna stop getting screwed over with roster moves? he should have been called up 6 weeks ago
