From Carl Pavano to Kyle Farnsworth

By

Two of our least favorite Yankees bookended the season. How appropriate.

Any word on what happened with farnsworth on the pitch before the homerun? He stayed crouched on the ground for a few seconds and then got up and walked around gingerly before molina and the trainers came out.

  2. Mike A. says:

Am I the only one hoping for a Yanks-Phils World Series?

And Orel Hershiser just said “he’s going to become almost a folk hero in New York” in reference to Joba. Going to? Almost???

    • dan says:

Who would met fans root against in that scenario? (i say “against” because they don’t really ever root for the mets 100%, theres always some % of yankee hating in whatever they say)

    • John says:

I went to school and hour from Philly, so I’ve got plenty of friends who are Phillies fans (also a fair number of Orioles fans). I’m all for a Yank-Phils series (especially with a Yankee win).

      Indians first.

    • Kyle says:

It would be fun, and very high scoring. The Phils are going to be a fun team to watch as they really dont have much pitching and are going to have to slug their way through the playoffs.
