He does step into the pitch a little bit but it’s not quite as extreme as Cano. I think the camera angle may have also added to it – I’ll see if I can get a better look at the game tomorrow.

He probably steps in with the pitch. Cano does the same thing, damon does it too to some extent. I’d guess (ive never actually seen him swing) that he steps in too much and gets jammed on the inside pitches because he’s slightly off balance– look at how close his back foot is to the plate.

One of my favorite aspects of the AzFL is that the guys wear the uniform of their parent team, that’s oh so cool. Oh, and good lord, Miranda needs to close up that stance a bit, otherwise he hasn’t got a prayer on pitches on the outer half.
