I’d take a flier on Humberto Cota if I was the Yanks. He can’t possibly be any worse than Wil Nieves as the 3rd catcher.
A folding chair and a pillow wouldn’t be worse than Nieves as the third catcher. Did you see anything else of value on that list Mike?
Not much, but there are worse things in the world than taking a flier on John Koronka. A Spring Training invite for Jason Stanford, Jon Adkins, Jermaine VanBuren and/or Jae Seo wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world either.
The Jays cut Howie Clark, the 3B who didn’t catch the ball in the whole A-Rod “Ha!” fiasco.
