I saw Corona play a few games this year. Looked pretty decent to me. One of the games I saw, he made plays up the middle that Jeter doesn’t make. I didn’t see him on any balls in the hole. So I can’t say for sure if he has a good arm or not.

He’s starting to get blocked by a couple defensive wizards in Ramiro Pena and Alberto Gonzales so he probably needs to start showing more with the bat if he’s going to play shortstop at AA this year. His projection is more as a talented utility player so bouncing between 2B and SS might not be such a bad thing at this point.

Well this post isn’t pretending to be a projection. Corona could turn a corner this season and become a legit top prospect, and nothing in this post would suggest that that status is either within or beyond his grasp.
