Joe Kennedy, 28, passes away
ByBlue Jays pitcher Joe Kennedy died earlier this morning at his home in Florida. Ken Rosenthal speculates that the young lefty died from a sudden heart attack or brain aneurysm. This tragic death gives us just one more reason to be thankful that Shelley Duncan, after suffering a blood clot in his arm, is okay and will be healthy enough for spring training. Our thoughts go out to Kennedy and his family.

Yeah, it really is a shame.
It’s a shame. On the other hand, he got to live a dream most guys (me included) would sell their souls for.
I would rather live a full life then die at 28 and have played MLB. Very sad loss.
I heard him on the Bubba The Love Sponge on Sirius a few times. He was good friends with Bubba. Seemed like a great guy. My heart goes out to his family.
R.I.P Joe Kennedy.
God Bless your Family.
Yea, it’s terrible. Such a good guy. You never heard anything bad about him.
