Rudy rooted for the Red Sox in ’04, too

By Benjamin Kabak

Rudy Giuliani, during the Republican debates tonight, just admitted to rooting for the Red Sox in 2004. He also just took credit for the four Yankee World Series championships during his mayoralty. So does that mean the Yanks are suffering through the Curse of Giuliani or the Curse of Bloomberg, our current Boston-born mayor?

Meanwhile, the Village Voice printed an article a few months ago regarding Rudy’s illegal gifts from the Yankees organization. Here’s the link: http://www.villagevoice.com/ne......html/full

Give em back, traitor.

I vote for the “Rudy Giuliani Is A Braying Ass” label.

Colin says:

Did he say he rooted for them against the Yankees or just in the World Series? I guess he really wants those New England voters

Stephen says:

I say it’s the GOP curse. The Yankees haven’t won under a Republican President since the Eisenhower Administration.
