Yonder is one of those guys that could end up going early to a team looking for a relatively cheap, low-risk option. I got a quick glimpse of him on TV last year, and in his first AB he hit a 400ft bomb to the opposite field, and the next AB he struck out on three pitches.

Yonder Alonso. He’s considered in that top “3″ of great college hitters with Alvaraez and Smoak.

In my opinion he’d be available when the Yankees select, so he’s definitely one to keep an eye on.

I hope I’m wrong, but I think that Hosmer is the only guy on that list that we have a prayer of landing. I would be happy with that. I have been advocating drafting Hosmer for a while.

As far as Danks is concernned I am a huge fan. I think he has all the potential in the world. He is currently projected as a sandwich/2nd round pick. If we could get him as our supplemental pick I would be estatic.
