Justice out as YES Network analyst
ByDavid Justice, according to Richard Sandomir, sports media beat writer for The Times, will see his role diminish at the YES Network. According to Justice and YES Network officials, Justice will no longer be an in-studio analyst but will contribute to YESNetwork.com.
Justice had a rough end to 2007: His house was destroyed during the California fires, and his name appeared in the Mitchell Report. All of the involved parties say this changing role has nothing to do with the Mitchell Report and more to do with Justice’s desire to be at home while his family rebuilds their house. I have one thing to say about that: Hal-le Ber-ry. Clap clap clap clap clap.

I would never leave my house…
Yeah, too bad he beat her and drove her to the edge of suicide when they divorced.
David Justice is a loser.
I don’t mind him
Your Halle Berry cheer/razz is soooooo predictable.
Glad to see him go… hated listening to his arrogant bs.
Does anyone believe that he has to quit his job to rebuild his home? Please.
“Oh yeah the rug looks much better there… lets hang that mirror above the mantle…” – Year well spent.
“How’d it feel when you were beating her, Dave?” The bleacher creatures don’t play.
I usually don’t pay much attention to off-field junk, but that’s not a man to forgive. Whatever he did for us, he was never a Yankee I could get behind, and as silly as the steroids nonsense is, if it’s taking him down, so much the better.
Oh man no more “How I would have done it is…” and “Well, if it was me I sould have…” Justice was horrible and YES! Network, just because a black athlete can speak in complete sentences doesnt mean you have to hand him a microphone.
He was tolerable on Yes. Now they just need to get rid of Chris Shearn, or whatever the hell his name is.
i met Justice and Halle Berry in a restaurent in Chicago back when he was with Atlanta. she was very nice and gave me an autograph, Justice ignored me and left the restaurant (to get a cab?), leaving Halle there.
He won’t be missed. YES needs to organize and thin out the on air talent that broadcasts the games and works the pre and post game.
There’s a topic for RAB to cover. Rank the YES announcers, break them down (congrats to Paulie for ditching the “ya knows” in every sentence this season), which ones would make the best broadcast team, etc.
I just know that Kim Jones is hotter than the barbie at a Fourth of July picnic!
