As a Red Sox fan I fear many of our pitching prospects, Lester especially, are being overvalued. hughes/chamberlain outranks Buchholz/anybody else. I think the Sox' edge right now is that Beckett and Matsuzaka are both in their mid twenties with presumably many productive years ahead of them, but the Sox very much need steady improvement from Matsuzaka and continued steadiness from Beckett if they want their pitching staff to continue to be at or above the level of the yankees.
