Hank: NFL steroid problem worse

In new stadium, Yanks to sell everything under the sun
Heyman ranks Cashman as game's fifth best GM

Everyone likes to pick on baseball for its drug problem because it’s supposed to be some bastion of American integrity, and few sports leaders have publicly spoken out about this double standard. Well, Hank Steinbrenner is mad as hell, and he’s not going to take it anymore. The Yanks’ VP said yesterday that the NFL’s drug culture is much worse than that of Major League Baseball. Where’s our Congressional hearing now, Mr. Waxman?

Is Mitchell a part-owner of the Patriots too? If so, the Giants might have some explaining to do!

it really is a crock of shit.. rodney harrsion got a 6 game suspension after admitting he has used HGH for years… there are a ton of double standards. shawn merriman was a pro bowler the season he was suspended for illegal substance abuse… plus why is it okay to have lazik surgery on your eyes? isnt that an advantage over someone who isnt willing to have it done? it can improve your vision which could theoretically improve your hand-eye coordination… but there is risk involved so some players choose to not have it done because it could harm there vision.. isnt that the same as one player choosing to use hgh to heal while another player had not before it was made illegal… players have been using amphetamines for decades but now tis illegal.. should we take away all the hall of famers records who used “greenies” or what about a confessed cheater like Gaylord Perry… whpo admitted to scuffing the ball after being inducted… so many double standards… and of course having a a senator who is aprt owner of a new england team use tax fraud secrets to expose suppliers in the area he knows best.. go check out KC and cleveland and steattle… liek bret boone wasnt juicing.. ugh what a bunch of horseshit.

Good for Hank on this one.

I’d watch myself if I was hank. He may indeed be right, but I’ve yet to see anyone get the better of Goodell. I wouldn’t want to be the guy that’s out there trying to throw other leagues under the bus either, nobody will respect him for that.

He should also be picking on the rest of the MLB as well. The Mitchell report was not comprehensive and very Yankee-centric.
