YANKEE TEAM OWNER GEORGE SEINBRENNER SHOULD HAND THE BALL TO MRS BILLY WHO SHOULD THEN HAND THE BASEBALL TO PRESIDENT BUSH WHO SHOULD THROW THE BALL TO MRS THRUMAN MUNSON BEHIND THEPLATE,THEN HAND THE BALL TO YOGI BERRA.
IF THATS NOT POPULAR THEN ALLOW GOVERNOR DAVID PATTERSON TO THROW OUT THE 1ST BALL AND SEE IF IT LANDS INSIDE THE DUGOUT

How about Bob Sheppard throwing out the 1st pitch of the last opening day in Yankee Stadium? I know he's too sick to announce but is he too sick for a quick visit to the ballpark and one pitch?

Fortunately, the last home game is vs. Baltimore, so I think it's really unlikely that the Yanks will be down by 10.. Did Kei-O (because he gets knocked out so early) Igawa start this game?

I swear if we lose as many games to the O's this year as we did last year, i'm gonna cry.

I wasnt kidding about Eli.

And I could see Mariano throw the last inning in the postseason(preferably game 7 of the WS) but regular season would be tough to arrange especially if the yankees clinch a playoff birth early.

Barring a trade, I can't see him getting the last out if we're down by 10...

It's gotta be Steinbrenner, right?

As far as game action goes, I don't care if the Yanks are up by 10 or down by 10, Mo has to get the last out in the last game at the Stadium.

I'd rather have Eli than Reggie, but of course, I've never been much of a Reggie fan. He seems to be the guy George has tried to push as the contemporary "Yankee great", even though he only played for a four seasons, was extremely divisive and mostly disliked by his teammates, and doesn't really measure up in terms of ability (though he was still very good).
