As Harlan convalesces, Yanks are Joba-less
Posted by: Ben K. in Asides. Tagged: Joba ChamberlainWhile Joba Chamberlain is eligible to come off the bereavement list today, he will be missing the series against the Red Sox, according to the Yankees. Manager Joe Girardi said yesterday than Harlan is feeling a little better but is still awaiting more tests in the hospital. Yankee fans all over continue to hope for the best for the Chamberlains.

Joba should be there with his father, let him take his time. There is nothing more important than being there for those you love in times of crisis. Baseball and the Yankees can wait, Joba’s dad needs him there.
It sucks for we fanatics, but there’s no arguing it. Dad > Baseball.
Word. I miss Joba but he needs to be right where he is.
As Girardi put it, and I’m paraphrasing here, there’s only so much time you can spend with your loved ones and it always takes priority over anything else.
Almost positive he is not eligible to come off today anyway. You have to be on the list at least three games. Tonight is the third.
maybe the put him on the bereavement list retroactively!
