Half-kidding, but IMO we should at least explore the possibility of moving one of those guys while they're still tradeable.

You try to package a few together and get a young corner OF'er, 1Bman, or C. See the Saltamacchia, Adam Jones, and Tampa Bay trades. Teams are generally willing to trade good prospects for young pitching. Matsui, Damon, Abreu and Giambi are playing on borrowed time, and Posada is a 100 years old in catcher years.

I'd take Kershaw (can never have enough lefty pitching) or Wieters (catcher, reasons are obvious). In reality, the Yanks wouldn't be able to acquire either of those two without giving up one of The Big Three, or a guy like Cano.

It is a bit far-fetched to think they all will work out. I know it's hard to see them not working out since they've all been so great, but trust me, most of them, and I do mean most of them, will be busts.

For every 4 top prospects, 1 reaches their ceiling, 1 falls short but is still a useful player, and the other 2 just go by the wayside. It's just the way it is.

Okay, Jamal, but is it that far-fetched to believe that 4 of them will pan out? Still got that same "good" problem (no pun intended), but a problem nevertheless...

You God Damn right you did.

But seriously the probability that all of our guys pan out is very minimal so therefore we shouldn't have to worry about who's is going to fit where. However it is a very, very, very good problem to have and shows you how far this system has come.
