Brandon says:

Zach McAllister action figure w/ bounce back ability

btw Melancon topped out at 94 mph tonight. Hard to see the ball w/ his release.

Brandon says:

95 mph according top Bronx Liasion

George says:

We are witnessing the morphing stages of the Yankee organizational modal. They used to trade for established players, now they look inside their system.

Bold prediction or wishfull thinking, you pick… Melancon or Cox, maybe both, will be up by with the big club by the end of June. Keep them in the minors until June, so they can continue to develop in warmer weather.

Mo
Joba (pronounced JOBA not JABA, Chris Russo. I still believe that Joba will be moved into the rotation)
Kyle
Ross
Hawkins
Veras (?) (Britton is racking up the frequent flyer miles)
Cox
Melancon

Wang
Andy
Mussina
Joba
Rassner (lets see what he or IPK turns out to be, until Hughes returns)
IPK(?)

A.D. says:

I think they’re higher on Veras than Britton, so he’ll be in the pen barring trade or injury

keith says:

uhhhh, it’s not pronounce JO-BA its JA-BA liek Jabba the Hutt.

J.R. says:

Edwar is sporting a 0 ERA through 8 outings. If he keeps up numbers like that, it becomes almost impossible to send him down.

Tripp says:

Charleston won last night.

I was there. They were up 2-0 in the 8th when I left. Can’t imagine they would lose 1-2.

By the way, Montero hit a bomb last night. The wind was blowing in about 15 mph and it got caught on the edge of the fence. The ball was about a mile high in the air.

The team’s offense is really down. Krum got on with an error, stole second, tagged up to third by snyder, and then scored on a chopper to the first baseman by Montero.
McCallister was dominant again last night. 7 or 8 of his Ks were swing strike outs and he made some really nice plays in the field.

A.D. says:

Is Malec and actual prospect or just a filler?

r.w.g. says:

Are Brandon Laird and Brad Suttle injured?

A.D. says:

Yup, along with Romine & Almonte

Bronx Cheer says:

Any clue on status? Timing for return?

Brandon says:

Romine is day to day, Almonte we’ll find out later on, the news on Christian Garcia should come today or tomorrow and same w/ Cervelli

A.D. says:

Would be great for Cervelli to get back, he’s really missed out with the injury, he probably would have gotten a shot in the Bronx this year

keith says:

I’m willing to bet that Masterson would beat the Yankees if he started vs them tomorrow.

Brandon says:

he got ripped apart by Trenton last night, but yeh I would agree w/ that

A.D. says:

His line:

6. in 5H 0Er 2BB 4K, book it and a redic GB-FB ratio
