It’s kinda crappy out. It’s not supposed to let up, according to The Weather Channel. Though they’ve been wrong before. Everywhere I’ve read at this point claims the game is on. So let’s hope they can get it in.

Not much to say. Hit ball. Win game. Das it.

1. Johnny Damon, LF
2. Bobby Abreu, RF
3. Derek Jeter, SS
4. Hideki Matsui, DH
5. Jason Giambi, 1B
6. Robinson Cano, 2B
7. Melky Cabrera, CF
8. Alberto Gonzalez, 3B
9. Chad Moeller, C

And on the mound, Darrell Rasner.

Update: Wouldn’tcha know, they called it. Too bad there’s no chance we get 1/4 doubleheader tomorrow. That would be soooooo sweet.

Jamal G. says:

I’m hoping it gets rained out. It’ll show those dumb asses in Queens how ridiculous it is to push back Johan Santana for a meaningless game in May against an American League team. If it gets rained out he would be pitching on seven days of rest if he were to go tomorrow. Idiots.

Any news on whether Ras makes his start regardless.

Yeah, they’re just going to throw him out there in the rain. He doesn’t want to get off schedule,. Tough to pitch with the tarp on the mound, but I think it’s worth it.
