I for one am happy to see Ohlendorf shipped to AAA. He will have a tough time making it back to the Bronx with the competition in the minors. A 7 ERA in MLB doesn’t translate to a sub 2 ERA in AAA. The yankees have better options. This move was a long time coming.

i wouldnt say plus movement or great command .. maybe decent … his era is not indicivative of that type of pitcher …. he also got lucky today and escaped a few jams .. a line-up like the yanks should haved scored 10 runs easy on him today .. he got lucky

Time for a bullpen reshuffling

Latroy needs to be replaced by Robertson – there’s no way if we have somebody throwing as good at AAA as Robertson that we should have some of these other guys on the team puking it up way too often – Edwar and Ohlendorf have work to do still.

I think Ohlehdorf will benefit from some time at AAA – his stuff is great, but his head doesn’t seem solid enough to keep it consistent.

Cox for Edwar – I’d love to see that too! I know Cox is on the rebound, but the guy’s got a friggin 0.69 ERA at AAA…

seriously, Christian looked over-matched at the plate today .. and Pelfry didn’t have his best stuff …. with Matsui going DL, i think its time to DH Damon and finally give Gardner his shot

That was THE worst game I’ve ever been to. Delgado’s Granny was hit about 5-10 feet from me. I almost threw-up. You can probably see me on sports center leaning against the wall, giving the ball the finger. 31 U 11. On a good note, someone noticed my “Save the Big Three” t-shirt.
