Montero will probably strike out a bit more, but hit for a similar average (Lee has a slightly below avg BABIP). Hopefully Montero can have better plate discipline in a few years than he does now. It just seems the Yankees drafted a lefty specialist in the sandwich which would jus be a shame. And that's nothing against him as I like his makeup and poise. Just the facts. I was thinking that maybe he and not Shelley Duncan might get the call to the Bronx when the Yankees drop Chad Moeller from the 25-man roster. Carson also boasts a cool .120 ISO vs. LHP at Scranton. Albeit in a small sample size of 25ABs.
