Jamal G. says:

You were right about Mitch Hilligoss, damn.

Ben K. says:

Poor Jairo. I wonder what his teammates think of the braces.

Jamal G. says:

So many kids have braces now growing up it really isn’t a source of ridicule anymore. I had them from the summer before 7th grade up until the second semester of my Freshman year in HS, I never had any issues with people.

Ben K. says:

Yeah, that was my time for braces too, but Jairo’s got them as an 18-year-old at A ball. Baseball players can be a vicious bunch.

Lanny says:

You get braces when you’re 12. Not 18. But he was from another country and I’ll venture a guess in that he didn’t have dental ins.

BigBlueAL says:

Sal Fasano!!! Played 1b for the Yankees in “Major League”.

A.D. says:

White has been terrible lately

Mashmore says:

Much like the Thunder offense…

the thunder offense isn’t thundering…lol

A.D. says:

I guess Robertson’s line couldn’t get much better, unless he did it in 9 pitches

A.D. says:

Is Malec going to get a chance to move up to AAA?

Lanny says:

Trip A or Doub A.

It doesn’t matter for someone that talented.

Mashmore says:

I’d think he needs more at-bats in Trenton before that happened…

Arizona Steve says:

Good to see D Rob pitch well in back to back games. When does he get a call up because it is quite obvious that Girardi has not confidence in much off his pullben with several starters going eight innings.

whozat says:

Or, that he doesn’t have the same hair-trigger that Joe T had.

Moose, Ras, Andy…they were all pitching well in those games

Sal says:

Any word on the Christian Garcia injury?

dan says:

Robertson in last 7 appearances: 12 innings, 7 hits, 23 K’s, 2 walks, 2 runs, 100% domination.

Jer says:

Big props for the NOFX reference.

TurnTwo says:

What do we know about Malec? I’m not familiar with the guy… where is he from, what does he offer, what are his negatives?

Mike A. says:

He’s a bat control freak, puts the bat on the ball almost effortlessly. He used to be a slick, #2 hitter style middle infielder, but he changed his game last year and become more of a gap-to-gao corner infielder. Super sleeper as a utility player.

Dillon says:

What else does Robertson need to do? Give him a couple days off and call him up!

dan says:

They’re waiting to see if he can take Chris Britton out with a sniper rifle before they call him up.
