All Star Game to return to New York in 2013…

By

…but not to the Bronx quite yet. According to Ken Davidoff, the Mets’ new park CitiField could be the 2013 All Star Game host. I’m looking forward to seeing the Mid-Summer Classic return to the Big Apple. This week of baseball festivities was just plain old fun.

I’m happy to hear the ASG will be back in town in a few years. Even if it’s the Mets who will get their ass kissed.

What I shudder to think about it how long it’ll be after 2013. New York waited FAR too long this time around…

  4. That will be awesome. The Mets can have a great pre-game ceremony to honor their history.

And then, 2 minutes later, they can start playing.

Lets not laugh – the Mets can almost have an old timers day to rival with the Yanks as the Yanks older parts continue to fall….Seaver, Mays, Doc, Straw, Hernandez, Carter, Knight , Mookie, Piazza, couple of 69/73 guys, a few 80′s guys – Dykstra, Backman, Darling, Cone – add a few 2000 guys, its not as bad as it was a few years ago.

Especially with the thinning of the Yanks Old Timers….
