It seems like there’s a lot of confusion. Allow me to help.

I’ve developed this handy “ARod Scenario/Use of Clutch/Coefficient of Homer Situation” (or ARod S.U.C.C.H.S) Analyzer to determine exactly how “clutch” or “non-clutch” ARod’s homers really are. The Analyzer works like this:

(1st inning homers + 2nd inning homers + 3rd inning homers + 4th inning homers + 5th inning homers + 6th inning homers + 7th inning homers + 8th inning homers + 9th inning homers + extra inning homers) / 0 = “clutchiness”

ARod’s clutch homer zone rating factor is still zero, I’m afraid.

Dude, farnsworth looked really sad when he was talking to the media. Baseball is a tough game, for someone to have to pick everything up and go in a minutes notice. Especially when you develop a bond with your team mates.

And us fans sitting here just call for trades to happen like we are trading inanimate objects with no feelings.

With that said, we get a type A free agent catcher who fills up a whole in our lineup.
I still feel bad for farny.

Dude, not only did we trade away a Type-B free agent for a Type-A, but we upgraded the Catcher’s position this year and potentially have two Type-A free agents (Bobby Abreu and Rodriguez). Also, Brian Bruney takes Farnsworth’s spot in the bullpen so no loss there. This is a fucking great move.

Manimal, trust me, there is no reason to be anything but ecstatic about this move.
