Team USA falls to Cuba in Olympic semifinals

By Mike Axisa

The USA Olympic baseball lost 10-2 to Cuba this morning in the semifinal round, meaning Team USA will take on Japan in the bronze-medal game later tonight. SDSU phenom Stephen Strasburg started, but didn’t make it out of the 5th, while relievers Jeff Stevens and Blaine Neal combined to cough up 6 runs in the 8th, putting the game out of reach.

Either Brett Anderson or Jake Arrieta will take the mound for the red, white & blue tonight, while Japan will throw some kid named Yu Darvish. Cuba will take on Korea in the gold medal game tomorrow evening.

i just dont understand why, with like 15 NBC channels, they cant put this on one of them live.

Macphisto says:

I can’t believe it’s not televised on one of the NBC channels. They had handball on MSNBC, why can’t they put this up. I want to get a look at Yu.
