Triple-A Scranton won the Governor’s Cup. They’ll play the Pacific Coast League Champs next Tuesday in the Bricktown Showdown; the Sacramento River Cats (A’s) are leading the Oklahoma Red Hawks 2-1 in the best-of-five series. The Bobby Murcer Award will be presented to the game’s MVP for the first time this year; the game will be televised on ESPN2.

High-A Tampa’s season is over; they did not qualify for the playoffs. The Daytona Cubs won the league championship.

Low-A Charleston’s season is over; they did not qualify for the playoffs. The Augusta Green Jackets (Giants) won the league championship.

Short Season Staten Island’s season is over; they were eliminated in the first round of the playoffs. The Batavia Muckdogs (Cards) lead the Jamestown Jammers (Marlins) 1-0 in the best-of-three NY-Penn League Championship series.

The Rookie GCL Yanks’ season is over. The GCL Phils won the league championship.

    A-Jax has had a pretty impressive playoffs this season. Showing power, getting walks and etc. Robbed twice, get stronger A-Jax.

    I love that our prospects seem to step it up for big games. Hughes, A-Jax, Montero. Hope that trend continues.
