except for Rivera being a RH hitter, a decent defensive player, and not having a drastic platoon split, i’d say they are almost identical.

Miranda and Juan Rivera are similiar type players.If Miranda shows the potential to hit at or above league average,he must show it now to have any trade value.

Miranda has very little trade value. especially to an NL team b/c he stinks defensively.

if a team doesnt find him all that particularly useful, why would they want him, even as a throw in?

he’s a platoon player who already has a major league deal and no real upside.

i guess i kind of get what you’re sayin… i just he’s the type of player who is valuable to the team he’s on, because he’s cheap and can potentially be a decent bench player, but to other organizations, there isnt much reason to want him because you have players like him in your system already.

i could be wrong, but it seems to me that he doesnt have much trade value. he’s not young, doesnt have a particularly high ceiling, and is more of a platoon player right now than an everyday guy.

I think the Yankees should invite every player in their system to tour the stadium (the same ones the fans get) before they knock it down. The vast majority of them will obviously never play in it, and I bet you most of them have never been inside.
