Yanks set to beef up stadium security for final homestand
ByWith the Yankees in fourth place, it’s fairly safe to say that Sept. 21st will play host to the last baseball game ever at Yankee Stadium. Between now and then, the Yanks will be home just ten more times, and thousands of Yankee fans will make their final trips to the stadium. To that end, I’m sure souvenir hunters will be out in full force. I’ve already seen cops arrest would-be vandals, and now the Yankees (and Mets) have announced plans to beef up security measures during the final regular season games. That last game is going to be really messy from a security standpoint.

What exactly are they afraid fans will do? Run on the field and steal the bases? Grab some dirt? What is there to really steal at Yankee stadium? Seat plate numbers? Someone call in the national guard!
The idiocy of some people who are drunk knows no bounds. I’m kind of happy I won’t be there for the last game.
What will be the over/under on police brutality claims after that game?
Zero. The NYPD is the finest police force in the nation, and they never ever go too far in their law enforcementness and their ruthless pursuit of justiceocity.
lol that was awesome.
I dont know about you guys but I plan on sneaking out with a few rows of seats
If I get enough bungee cord, I’m actually planning on leaving with the bat outside in front…
Step 1: Obtain bungee cord
Step 2:
Step 3: GIANT BAT!
There is absolutely nothing wrong with that plan.
I work best under pressure. I’ll show up with one of those minivan cabs, and the four of us can figure it out from there.
I’m leaving with the fascade.
I’ll be taking the jumbo tv. It will go nicely in my living room.
Will someone please steal Suzyn Waldman and John Sterling and drop them in a deep hole!
