A message for our feed readers
ByThis one’s a short administrative note for all RAB readers who read the blog through our RSS feed. Please take the time today to make sure you’re accessing our feed via the following URL: http://feeds.feedburner.com/RiverAveBlues. Many of you are using the old feed address, and we just want to make sure everything is as streamlined as possible. Thank you.
Update by Joe: This is probably best accomplished by unsubscribing, then clicking on our Feedburner icon to the left. Just make sure you re-subscribe if you unsubscribe. Because, you know, we’re cool like that.
How do we tell if its an RSS feed?
If you read it through a feed reader like Google Reader or Bloglines. If there’s enough demand we’ll put up a tutorial.
just curious, but why http://feeds.feedburner.com/RiverAveBlues over http://riveraveblues.com/feed/ ? i originally chose the latter because the stories would hit my reader first. but if it is a matter of advertising/compensation or better pageview tracking i will surely oblige, i was just wondering from a purely academic standpoint.
It’s both, Adam. We’re trying to get a better headcount and it’s better for advertising purposes as well.

Hey guys, you can have the old feed automatically redirect to the Feedburner feed. That’s probably a lot easier than asking people to sub/unsub:
