ALDS Game 3: Rays @ ChiSox
ByA day after Joe Torre’s Dodgers completely housed the Cubbes and sent them packing, Ozzie Guillen looks to avoid the same fate with his Chicago team. It’s supposed to rain for another few hours in the Windy City, which is rather fitting. Dank. More polished, better all-around pitcher.
Well Garza has the better arm, but Danks is younger and is lefthanded.

Yea, Danks was part of that group called “DVD” With Danks, Volquez and Diamond being the future. Tough luck for the Rangers as Volquez and Danks has harness that potential for other teams and Diamond had TJS.

Well they could trade Hardy to get some good pieces. I mean Hardy has much more value than Weeks right now. Unless obviously, they trade Weeks and put Hardy at 2nd Base which really woulnd’t make that much sense no?
I’d keep Hardy unless the offer is too good to pass up.
What do you guys think would be more satisfying? Seeing the Rays beat Boston in the CS, or Mr. T, Manny & crew do the job in the WS?

You know, I’ve always enjoyed the BooSox broadcast to a certain degree, since I watch mostly on MLB.tv & see what most teams offer as their announcers.

But hearing Don Orsillo without the added rub of actually seeing the Sawx, I really like him as an announcer. Harold & him are a good team I think.
Melky & IPK for Don Orsillo? I’d throw in Michael Kay but that new contract of his might sour the deal.
Iwamura statistically was one of the worst fielding second basemen and he had a 96 OPS.

The Cowboys? They lost to a team we bitch-slapped in Week 1. The Titans? You really think their offense can hold a candle to us?
I’ll give you the Panthers and Steelers as true competitors. But honestly, how can you really argue against the Jints being the top dog?
Dude your team barely beat the Bengals, and the Giants has had a relatively weak schedule. I mean the NFC West sucks balls, and it’s not like you guys destroyed the Redskins considering it was week one.
They have played great, but seriously, they ain’t the best team in football.

The scores in the Redskins’ game was misleading. You look at that game again, we would have easily shut them out if not for a phantom 15-yard-face-mask penalty. I think it was called on Barry Cofield, he had a hand full of jersey. Our offense tailed off a bit after that initial drive, but we were in complete control throughout.
The Bengals game was a bit of a different story. We did struggle against a pretty bad team. I can’t argue anything against that.
Yeah, the Rams are pretty fucking horrible.
The Seahawks game more of the same. Everyone was ready to get on the Seattle bandwagon when they got Deion Branch and Bobby Engram back. What happened? The Jints’ D held them to 187-net yards, and dominated the TOP to the tune of 36:28-to-23:32.

The season just started so I gotta get better feel as he season progress. I think the steelers are better, and I think the Eagles can stand toe to toe with the Giants.
Oh, and Philly can suck it. You couldn’t find a Philly fan who wasn’t pumping their chest about the Iggles before this season.

Dude, don’t worry. This division is going to beat the hell out of each other. I will be truly surprised if a team finished with a 4-2 record in this division.
One of the best maybe. But your arguement about the Giants “bitch slapping” the Redskins in week 1 is weak. A 16-7 win can hardly be called a bitch slap, and even saying a 16-0 shutout is sad when you consider Plax went off and Jacobs was huge, and they only managed 16 points. Beating the Rams is nothing. The Seahawks are not at full stength, but even when they are, unless they are at home, they are not much of a challenge. Cincy is bad. Can you honestly say that the next matchup of Giants Redskins now that the ‘Skins understand Zorn’s offense will have the same result? I think the Giants are one of the best, but Dallas and the Redskins are right there with them. Pitt if healthy needs to be considered the favorite in the AFC.

I like Garza and his arm is terrific, but he’s sure predictable and at times is a one pitch pitcher.

Yeah, they’re pretty terrible. I didn’t think they would miss Shawne Merriman that much, but they do. The Chargers can’t generate a pass rush to save their lives. LT doesn’t know how to play in pain. They’re a mess.
That Matt Ryan-Steve Breaston trade is really paying immediate dividends. For a backup QB, I got a guy who’s given me six catches for sixty-six receiving yards so far. Since Anqaun Boldin is out indefinitely, this might be one of my best moves in either of my two leagues.

Cincy’s defense is stepping up against the Cowboys. Now if their offense can stay consistent, we might have a real shot of an upset here.
Just watching guys like Danks and Flyod on the same team performing well, gives me great hope and anticipation for Hughes and Joba.
