Mariano’s surgery a success

By Benjamin Kabak

Breath easy, folks. Mariano Rivera came through surgery with no complications. Rivera will begin a throwing program in three months and will be set for Spring Training. While David Pinto, with a wink and a smile, wonders if the Yanks should have left Rivera’s shoulder as is after his amazing season, this surgery just means Mo will be even better next year. In Mariano we trust.

It worried me a little when I found out that Dr. David Pinto was the Mets doctor so if starts blowing save next year we will know why.
Just kidding this is great news.

Andy In Sunny Daytona says:

I thought that Joba performed the surgery?

Steve H says:

He didn’t start it, though he came in late, where’s he most useful. Of course had he just started the surgery, he would have done the majority of the work and they wouldn’t have needed him to clean up.

I fixed it. It is indeed the multiple hyphens. Dunno why though.

She’s a transformer. She’s more than meets the eye.

“Mariano’s surgery a success” = the most redundant post headline ever.

Mariano’s fill-in-the-blank a success.

I heard that the doctor eliminated the three calcifications via two backwards K’s and a weak broken-calification popup to short.
