Rivera’s surgery set for Tuesday
ByMariano Rivera will have his arthroscopic shoulder surgery on Tuesday, according to Ed Price. This is a minor procedure that doesn’t actually involve much cutting, and Rivera will be all set for Spring Training.
Considering how he pitched all year with the injury, the Yanks should look into putting calcium growths into the shoulders of all their pitchers.
