No, but there’s clearly a difference between his take on Brackman/Bleich and IPK and Aceves.

On B&B, he explained how they are still in the early phases of development. IPK is working on his repertoire, but Aceves and Coke were nothing but praise. I think he made his points without knocking anyone.

Probably AAA. He hit .307-.363-.416 in 71 games at AA last year after starting the year on the DL with a medical issue that was feared to be cancer (it wasn’t).

If Russo makes it to the bigs, he’ll be the 4th player from the Yanks’ 2006 draft class to do so, which is just a ridiculous ROI. Assuming Melancon & Dan McCutchen also make the bigs (Cutch with the Pirates, obviously), then that’s just a stupid level of success. Probably one of the 3 or 4 most successful draft classes this decade.

I don’t know if he could hold up as a starter. His delivery has a lot of effort and puts a decent amount of stress on his elbow, hence the TJ. I mean, they could try it, but there’s a chance he’ll just end up blowing out his elbow again.
