A-Rod + Scott BFF 4ever

By Benjamin Kabak

According to Scott Boras, his relationship with A-Rod is all better. The über-agent and A-Rod fell out of each other’s good graces last winter when Boras did or did not botch the whole opt-out thing. Of course, if you believe in conspiracy theories, Boras was never out of favor with A-Rod; he did after all secure a much better deal for A-Rod than the one out of which the slugger opted. Someone had to take the fall for A-Rod’s PR hit. Either way, they’re tight again. Phew.

This really had me worried. I was unsure as to whether these bosom buddies were going to be exchanging Christmas cards this year. I bet Madonna makes one hell of a fruitcake, too.

I guess sucking somebodies balls for a year straight without intervals of breathing will put a guy in anybodies good graces…

Boras makes peace with A-Rod….A-Rod recruits his old Ranger buddy Mark…

a guy can hope….

Boras is an awesome agent who seems to always maximize the dollars his clients get.

If you have to be an asshat who passes out 700-page binders saying why your 32-year old pitcher with a 7.00 ERA still deserves 6 yrs and 70M, whatever, be an asshat.

To quote, “only one thing counts in this life: get them to sign on the line which is dotted! You hear me, you f@#$%@ f#$@&@!”

He has no peer.

You know what it takes to opt out of a 10-year, 252M deal during the World Series?

It takes brass balls to opt out of a 10-year, 252M deal during the World Series.
