New stadium comes with state-of-the-art trash
ByIn the comments to my post yesterday afternoon about the new stadium, Bill R. noted that the new stadium comes with some trash. It seems that folks have already been sitting in the seats and eating. In the grand tradition of baseball stadiums, they left their lunch trash under the seats. Hopefully, someone will clean that up before the Cubs come to town for a few exhibition games in April.

It’s just unacceptable, sure it maybe from the construction crew but lets be honest who wants to open up a brand new stadium and you sit in your very expensive seat for the first time and your kicking trash around. I find it funny the Yankees photographer took that shot even with the trash there. haha
the construction crew gave the fans an early start. lol

It is so weird to look at a picture of Yankee Stadium and see brand new shiny seats. I’m so used to the old faded ones with names scratched into them.
Seriously, the seats I’ve had are so etched, well the ones in front of my seats…I hope they allow you to buy ‘your’ seats.
