depending on other free agents we sign. they get our first round pick for cc unless we sign tex. and then they get 2nd round for sheets unless we sign a higher ranked free agent. so if we sign lowe or burnett i believe then the brewers would get third round??

does the signing of Nick Punto means Cody Ransom isn’t coming back? Girardi seems to be really high on Ransom.

As for your question, Girardi said that he felt they can carrier Ransom and a guy like Punto because Ransom can play the corner outfield spots too.

I agree with CC costing the money, but why in the world are they still then trying to sign every other pitcher available? Lowe (no thanks), AJ “all I do is get hurt” Burnett (NOPE). I don’t mind Sheets or Pettite but if you are going to og after the other two and spend 30 mil per year, why are you out on Tex at 18-20 mil?
