You think this is cold?

Clearly you’ve never been to Syracuse.

Also, I pick awesome days to have six hours of class, don’t I?

UWS says:

I lived upstate for years and I still think that it’s really fucking cold today. For me, the cold in NYC is worse because of the constant winds.

Mike A. says:

Word. It’s like a wind tunnel in midtown because of all the tall buildings.

whozat says:

I went to school in NH for ten years, in the CT river valley. The mountains basically made it one big wind tunnel down from Canada.

Now I live in California. It’ll be 70 degrees warmer here today than back where I used to live :-)

E-ROC says:

Here in good ‘ol Mountain Home, the high for today is 35, which is warm because it’s usually -2 degrees due to the damn wind.

jsbrendog says:

yeah, makes me just want to go across the street to heartland to warm up with some heady brews. i used to walk from pen station but its so damn cold not even my manly self can do that anymore

Syracuse is rather windy, too, though-it’s at the top of an exposed hill!

Anyway, I’m lucky enough not to be in Manhattan, joy! Sacrificing personal safety for not-as-cold-weather-ness!

Jay CT says:

Still no Ben? Poor guy. And 750 an hour for an NYU law degree will let you look at him thru the window. Dude is will be paid as if he’s the CC of lawyers!

I will boycot chats until Ben gets his due!

Ben K. says:

I can do a Monday afternoon chat. No classes on MLK Day.

E-ROC says:

Is it official for Monday?

Evan says:

What year in law school are you? After the 1st year there is no excuse for not doing chats.

Ben K. says:

1L

Officially Monday. I’ll announce the time Monday morning.

Yankee1010 says:

Only 5 more months. Then it’s 2 years of relative freedom.

UNION YES. says:

I used to go to college up in Plattsburgh. Now that shit is cold. When it would hit into the negatives, I’d walk outside and the moisture inside my nose would instantly freeze up. It was a pretty unusual feeling.

OUCH.

Man. Why on earth would you go to Plattsburgh? I get cold just thinking about the place!

UNION YES. says:

I love them adirondacks.
