The RAB Radio Show – February 12, 2009 – Episode 14

By Joseph Pawlikowski

Back in our regular slot, Mike and I take a show full of questions from the readers. It’s tough to create an agenda for the show at this time of the year, so why not let the listeners dictate it? We talk a lot about the construction of the team — center field, the Nady/Swisher situation, the bullpen. There are questions about who will win the divisions across the league. The best part: We do not really talk about A-Rod, except for a quip here and there.

Onto the podcast. It is available in a number of formats. You can download it here by right clicking on that link and selecting Save As. “Haha, Jon Garland kinda sucks.”

Mike Pop says:

Ugh, I heard the ending. I said offense with Cameron.

Mike Pop says:

Tex backed Arod and says he never touched roids on the Yankees website if anyone cares.

Joseph P. says:

*slaps wrist*

That’s what you get for posting off-topic.

Mike Pop says:

But but but but, I’m on topic. You said A-Rod at the end. My comment included Arod.

Your show is excellent. It really ties together the experience of your blog. Well done gents, and carry on.

Joseph P. says:

Appreciate it, TLC. We try to get just a little bit better every week.

J.R. says:

Joseph P. I like your reasoning that the Yanks were keeping a couple slots open for potential pitcher signings. A great theory. Thanks

Reggie C. says:

Joe…

Its probably not realistic, but Cash should do a Swisher + cashmoney + Kennedy for Schafer trade any day of the week. Swisher may or may not have a bounce-back year in him, and he doesn’t play a premium position, yet you still value bench depth over trying to nab a future starting CF?? How is trading Swisher and a bottom of the order guy “too much” for a very good CF prospect who’s proven he could hit in AA and field CF well??

podcast still rocks.

MrMet says:

Mets not making the playoffs?

They’ll take the East or win the wild card

MrMet says:

Also don’t forget when trading Nady, you’re also trading them a Type A free agent, so that’s a draft pick

Tom Zig says:

Mike and Joe:

Good show guys. Thanks for remembering and answering my questions.
