I realize people thought it was important to have Tex settle in at first, and it's pretty hard to judge something like that. But it's pretty easy to judge the effect of having two no-hit infielders on the 25-man, and at least one in the lineup every day. Plus, there would be more humor value in watching Miranda try to field than in watching Ransom try to hit.
