"But if there flying out of all ballparks with a greater frequency, how does that make Yankee Stadium a bandbox?"

Because there is already recorded proof of the wind blowing STRAIGHT OUT to right field and right center, as opposed to the old Yankee Stadium, where the trend was more of a horizontal wind from left to right field.

Funny how the Yankees bought into and acknowledged this as a problem before they had the league-wide homer totals in front of them. Now they're gonna pretend the wind ISN'T taking a different effect in the new park as opposed to the old one.

Don't forget, there have been about 5 No-hit bids that went past 6 innings. It hasn't been ALL offense.

Selig juicing baseballs is more than plausible. He's got more than a little P.T. Barnum in him. After all, he did make his first fortune selling used cars to cheeseheads.

Baseball Prospectus is talking about it, yeah. It could be.

It's also still possible for it to be a SSS fluke.

But if there flying out of all ballparks with a greater frequency, how does that make Yankee Stadium a bandbox?

And you don't think Selig would ordered the balls to be juiced? Attendance dropped last year for the first time in over a decade, and with the economy the way it is, I wouldn't be one bit surprised to find that the ball is juiced this year.

I blame Selig. It's all part of a sinister ploy to get his beloved Brewers back.

(How? Don't ask me. I just don't like that guy.)
