Because there is already recorded proof of the wind blowing STRAIGHT OUT to right field and right center, as opposed to the old Yankee Stadium, where the trend was more of a horizontal wind from left to right field. Funny how the Yankees bought into and acknowledged this as a problem before they had the league-wide homer totals in front of them. Attendance dropped last year for the first time in over a decade, and with the economy the way it is, I wouldn't be one bit surprised to find that the ball is juiced this year.
