Meet two-thirds of RAB at The Stadium today
ByJoe couldn’t make it, but Ben and I will be in attendance for Carl Pavano’s return to the Bronx this afternoon. We’re sitting in Section 412, Row 4, Seats 5-6, so stop by and say hi if you have some time. I’ll be in my seat around 12:30 or so, Ben a little later than that. We can spend some quality time booing Carl Pavano, should be a blast.

Boo him and boo him well. It should be free spoiled tomato day at Yankee Stadium.
If Pavano does somehow get the win I dont think I can watch baseball for atleast 2 weeks.
Boo him. Boo him good. (sung to Whip It)
Haha I was at the game yesterday in Sec. 428, by the 7th we were able to sneak down to the box seats. A few observations: I don’t think the whole crowd issue is as big of a deal as people are making it out to be (the seats behind the plate being a huge exception). It seemed to me at least that when Wang K’ed Grady and Tex hit that 1st inning HR, it was pretty loud. Granted, those were the only 2 bright spots. As they are discussing on LH right now, the field definitely seems smaller. My friends and I, chalked it up to depth perception because of a new, more open stadium but who knows? Finally, for anyone who’s been to Nationals Park, the whole setup as far as seating, concourses, etc. is very similar to that (not a bad thing). I know I’m just saying what 200 people have said before me here but I wanted to throw my 2 cents in.
Thanks for that. Appreciate it.
Not having Bob Shep announcing lineups just adds to an overall lackluster feeling at the new ballpark. Was there Fri and Sat and it’s going to take a lot of time to get used to it all. A lot of changes in only a short span. And I wonder if there is something about the stadium alignment that effects the crowd noise…yesterdays game had no reason in it to get noisy but I just get a sense that something is off and maybe its something acoustically?
Will any of you guys be at the game on May 19th??
