Molinas tracking Molinas
ByI love “Inside Baseball” stories such as the one Tyler Kepner has featured on the Bats Blog this week. Jose Molina, one third of the Catching Molina Brothers, was sitting in the Detroit clubhouse when a clip of his brother Bengie’s hitting a triple came on screen. Jose started cheering, and Kepner asked him how he keeps track of his brothers during the season. Molina has BlackBerry alerts for his two brothers and records all of their games at home. Now that is family devotion.

Dude, that is AWESOME!
Hava Molina, indeed!
i wonder if yadier/bengie were going bonkers when jose hit that gs
I, for one, went nuts at Old Timer’s Day when Jose hit his first HR of the season last year.
Catching Molinas >>>>>>>>>>>>> Flying Wallendas
I saw you on Sportscenter.
Again?
you were on sportscenter?
NFL draft
my comments arent showing up. wtf…
and like, just a dude in the background? nice
Nah, he was
one ofthe psychos(Jets fans) in the front(meant as a compliment, Jets fans are the best)
That’s is a lot of baseball for Molina to watch, especially given that Yadier & Bengie don’t get many days off.
Now if only Bengie could teach him how to hit…Actually maybe not. Then we probably wouldnt have him as a backup cause hed be starting.
Yadier’s much better.
If you throw out Yadier’s first 3 seasons then yes, but career numbers the edge goes to Bengie.
Then we probably wouldnt have him as a backup cause hed be starting.
You just blew the minds of all the Cashman Haters.
WHAT?!?!?!?!? BACKUPS WHO ARE GOOD AREN’T BACKUPS BECAUSE THEY GO AND GET STARTING JOBS?!?!?!?!??!
It’s such a hilarious cognitive disconnect…the people who lambast Cashman for not having Mike Lowell on a 1-year deal to back up ARod are the same ones who, given Nady/Swish/Damon, want one of them traded for a reliever.
I may have to go back in time and dust off the ol’ Cashman Hate Template®©™
That’s pretty tight right there.
i want to see a molina family footrace 500 yd dash, who wins?
Can i just take a second to remind everyone of one of commenter guidelines:
So, stop submitting that same comment more than once if it isn’t approved the first time please.
sorry, i dont have access to my personal emaila t work and cant really use my work email. ill just give up next time
Trick question, none of them actually finish.
i once saw a 15 yr old boy, running his hardest, get beat by a 4 yr old boy. i kid you not. poor kid..the nickname pip fit accordingly
There better be a defibrillator on hand…
100yd dash would be funny enough, hell just having them run 90ft to 1B would be funny enough.
Time. Time wins in that race.
