Tex is struggling at the plate. And has been unable to scoop some bad throws that he normally handles. Give him time. Tino struggled too the first month with the team. Then again, Tino wasn't making $180mil either. If you want to make the big bucks, you'd better produce. Same with CC. Time for both of these guys to start to dominate. Yup. He was shot out of a cannon last April too." I agree with you. But you can't bench or demote him while he's still hitting. He's gotten a lot of big RBI's to give us the lead late too. Gardner on the other hand, he's not playing well enough to be in the Majors. I agree with you. But you can’t bench or demote him while he’s still hitting. He’s gotten a lot of big RBI’s to give us the lead late too. Gardner on the other hand, he’s not playing well enough to be in the Majors. In addition to him not hitting, he’s cost us some runs with this defense too.

The Yankees are not just any ball club though, and with center field being one of the most important positions on the field, I’m not convinced Melky is the long or short term answer.
