As for flicks: How about Amores Perros, 21 Grams, Traffic, Taxi Driver, The Thin Red Line, Black Robe, The Wrestler, Doubt, Black Hawk Down, The Prestige, The Dark Knight, Syriana, The Good Shepherd (not everyone’s cup of tea, but a personal fave), Dangerous Liaisons, Being John Malkovich, The Ice Storm and many works of Zhang Yimou, like Raise the Red Lantern…to toss some out there.

Agreed Moshe, it was horrible. I’m a big Alexander the Great fan and was excited for the movie. It hurt watching that. The old one was much, much better than that. But once again, not saying much.

The worst movie ever, in my book, was Alexander with Colin Farrell. Awful acting, worse plot, really long. A drama without drama- what a novel concept.

I guess the real question is what is the worst movie ever?

My choices would be:

Manos: The Hands of Fate
Battlefield Earth: A Saga of the Year 3000

Also, no one has mentioned a single Hitchcock film on their great lists, which is pretty amazing since he is widely considered the finest director ever.
